We have 4 paintings. An old man in charcoal, Venice an oil, lady and bird oil on copper and dancers done with colored pencils (?). We got them in Germany in the early 60's as I recall. As with several other people, my favourite is the old man... interesting.

My ex-husband and I bought four of Diego's paintings in the early 70's while my husband was stationed in Kaiserslautern, Germany. I have Les 2 infants and L'Cufurre (which is a woman's face and a woman in a hat) in San Antonio, TX. The other two Girl with a White Hat and Sunday Afternoon in Spain are in Austin with my husband. We have enjoyed them through all these years and always get compliments on them. They are treasured by me and my grown daughters.

We met Diego in Germany and we are the proud owners of 6 pieces of his work. We love them and don't plan to sell them but would love to know their value.

I just purchased one of his paintings with out knowing who he was, or maybe I should say, is. Fell in love with it. It is an old men, believe is a Rabbi, His eyes won me, showed the life behind him. I am so glad I found this web site to somehow know who he was.

I bought several Diego paintings while living in Germany in the late 1960's. My favorite is a very simple one I call "The Old Man" which is done on an orange background. It was just so different than the other Diego's that were for sale at the time. I have tried for years to find out who the artist Diego was, and know I know at last.
